Flubaroo: Your Grading Assistant

[icon name="fa-slideshare"] STANDARD 2: design and develop digital age learning experiences and assessments

It is four o’clock and you get back to your classroom after a 45 minute meeting. You still have to plan for next week, send an email to one student’s mom, and on top of it all, grade the stack of quizzes on your desk.

Don’t you wish they would grade themselves?

John Keisker in our Middle School has been using Flubaroo, an addon to Google Sheets that will grade and analyze quizzes or homework. Flubaroo seems to work best with single word, multiple choice, or true and false answers.

Flubaroo does not stop with grading however. There are also analytics showing which questions students missed and might need to review. Grades and the correct answers can then be easily emailed out to students.

While it is possible to use Flubaroo for longer, more open-ended types of questions, teachers will still have to look at those and use personal judgement to grade those.

Download Flubaroo and give it a try: flubaroo.com/try-flubaroo-now.
