Protect your Privacy with Adblock Plus

You’re stuffed with candy canes, you finished all your Christmas online shopping, and your bags are packed. Your browser seems to feel your impatience. An ad pops up on one of your most frequented websites: “Do you miss Chicago? Book your flight now.” It’s time to block your browser leaks and protect your privacy with an extension.

Protect your Privacy

Grade 1 Andrea’s Letter to Santa

Who’s the tattletale? Part of your online trail is easily followed by files websites and advertisements leave on your computer. It is very easy to prevent obtrusive ads from being displayed even on Facebook and YouTube. My tool of choice for this task is Adblock Plus which you can install on your browser of choice: Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari (hopefully you are not using Internet Explorer anymore).

The add-on is developed by the open source community and free to use. You can also activate privacy and security features such as tracking and malware protection.
